ANIMAL & HAND PUPPET MAKING

Children will bring their imaginations to life as they design and create their own animal and creature puppets. In this hands-on class, participants will explore the full creative process, from developing an idea and building their puppet to learning basic puppeteering skills. The session will end with a short performance where students can share their creations.
“Flying” Bug Puppets
Session Cost: $250 (includes materials)

Instructor: Heather Kuhn
Children will let their imaginations take flight as they design and create their own insect-inspired rod puppets. Each participant will choose a bug or flying creature to bring to life while learning basic design, fabrication, and puppet-building techniques.
Students will explore how to create wings, add movement, and use simple puppeteering skills to make their insects “fly.”
This class is a fun opportunity for children to learn both a craft and an art form while building creativity, confidence, and hands-on skills they can enjoy throughout the summer and beyond.
Registration and Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations one week or less before the start of a new session will incur a $100 cancellation fee. If the spot can be filled, a $50 administrative fee will be deducted from the refund.
Once the class begins, no refunds can be offered.
Missed Classes and Make-Up Classes
Silver Dollar Policy will not be responsible for providing make-up classes or issuing refunds for missed classes for any reason.

Inclement Weather Policy
Every effort will be made to reschedule classes due to inclement weather; however, Silver Dollar Pottery & Crafts cannot guarantee make-up classes because of pre-set class schedules.
