This class is designed to help you build a strong wheel-throwing foundation while focusing on essential techniques and good form. Whether you're just starting out or looking to enhance your skills, this is the perfect opportunity to take your pottery to the next level and create pieces you’ll be proud of! Through hands-on instruction, you’ll learn how to center clay, pull walls, shape forms, and refine your work with trimming and finishing techniques. We’ll also explore glazing and surface decoration to give your pieces a personal touch.

Teens/Tweens Wheel Throwing/Hand Building

Our Teen/Tween Pottery class offers an exciting introduction to ceramics. Designed for beginners, this class combines hand-building and pottery wheel techniques, guiding teens in creating both decorative and functional pottery pieces.
All materials are provided, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.​
​
Participants must supply their own tools. Tool kits are available to purchase for $12.
​
Registration and Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations one week or less before the start of a new session will incur a $100 cancellation fee. If the spot can be filled, a $50 administrative fee will be deducted from the refund.
Once the class begins, no refunds can be offered.

Missed Classes and Make-Up Classes
Silver Dollar Policy will not be responsible for providing make-up classes or issuing refunds for missed classes for any reason.

Inclement Weather Policy
Every effort will be made to reschedule classes due to inclement weather; however, Silver Dollar Pottery & Crafts cannot guarantee make-up classes because of pre-set class schedules.
